Need the Mitsubishi M80 display in a different language? There are two ways — a settings-screen method and a parameter method — and both take under a minute. Screenshots below (demonstrated switching to Chinese, code 22; the same steps work for any language, including back to English).

Method 1 — via System setup

Step 1 — Press [MAINTE]

Press the [MAINTE] key to enter the Maintenance screen.

The full language list — press [Help]

With parameter #1043 selected, press [Help] to see what each value means: the language codes run from 0 to 25 (English included). Pick your code, enter it, done.

💡 Tip: if your machine arrived showing Chinese and you need English — use Method 2. Parameter #1043 is reachable by counting the same key positions shown in the screenshots, and [Help] shows the code list so you can pick English without reading the current language.
