How to Change the System Language on a Siemens SINUMERIK 828D (Step-by-Step with Pictures)

Changing the display language on a Siemens SINUMERIK 828D takes five key presses. The screenshots below demonstrate switching to Simplified Chinese — the identical steps work for any installed language, including switching back to English on an imported machine.

Step 1 — Press MENU SELECT

Press the MENU SELECT button to open the operating areas.

Select the Setup area to enter the settings screen.
