Description

OSE‑1024‑3‑15‑68 – Mitsubishi Encoder

Description

The OSE‑1024‑3‑15‑68 Mitsubishi Encoder is a precision spindle‑side ABZ pulse output encoder used in industrial CNC and automation systems to detect position and rotational speed of spindle shafts. It is designed to work when a spindle and motor are connected via a V‑belt or with gear ratios other than 1:1, and is used for functions such as orientation control and synchronous tapping. The encoder reliably converts rotational motion into electrical pulse signals for precise machine control and feedback in Mitsubishi drive systems.

Features

  • Pulse output encoder: Provides reliable ABZ pulse signals for position feedback.

  • 1024 pulses per revolution: Accurate detection of rotational movement (A/B phase = 1024 p/rev, Z phase = 1 p/rev).

  • Designed for spindle feedback: Ideal for detecting spindle position and speed, especially with nonlinear pulley or gear ratios.

  • Robust mechanical performance: Low inertia, controlled shaft friction, and high torsional rigidity.

  • Industrial durability: Bearing lubrication life ~20,000 h at rated speed and tolerance for thrust/radial loads.

  • Operating range: Continuous rotation up to 6000 rpm, suitable for typical spindle speeds (8000 rpm option in some variants).

  • Environmental resilience: IP54 dust protection and vibration/impact resistance for industrial use.

  • Compatibility: Works with Mitsubishi CNC and drive systems (D2/DH2, DM2, DJ series).
