The Siemens 6SL3055-0AA00-5KA3 SME125 Sensor Module is a high-performance external encoder interface designed for the SINAMICS S120 drive system. The module supports EnDat absolute encoders and SSI encoders with SIN/COS 1 Vpp incremental signals, delivering highly accurate position and speed feedback for demanding motion control applications. It also features integrated PTC and KTY temperature sensor inputs with secure electrical isolation, enabling enhanced motor monitoring and protection.
Built with a rugged IP67-rated enclosure, the SME125 can be mounted directly near the motor in harsh industrial environments, reducing wiring complexity and improving signal integrity. The module is supplied without a DRIVE-CLiQ cable and integrates seamlessly with Siemens SINAMICS S120 architectures.
