The Siemens SINUMERIK 840D NCU 571.3 (6FC5357-0BB11-0AE1) is a numerical control unit for the SINUMERIK 840D / 840DE powerline system: NCU 571.3 with Intel 486 DX4 100 MHz processor and integrated SIMATIC PLC 314, for 840D / 840DE machines with up to 6 axes / 2 channels. It plugs into the NCU box alongside the SIMODRIVE 611D drive rack and runs the NC kernel, PLC program and axis interpolation.
