Description
The Siemens SINUMERIK 840D NCU 573.5 (6FC5357-0BB35-0AA0) is the numerical control unit — the CNC and PLC brain of a SINUMERIK 840D system. It plugs into the NCU box alongside the SIMODRIVE 611D drive rack and runs the NC kernel, PLC program and axis interpolation. At JJ Automation it is available new and as tested used / refurbished — checked before dispatch and backed by warranty.
When to replace
Control not booting, watchdog or NCK system alarms, corrupted SRAM/PCMCIA data, repeated battery-backup failures, or physical damage after a power event.
